The San Leandro Education Foundation is proud to partner with Latinas in STEM to bring an all day STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) event to San Leandro.

This event is for boys and girls of any ethnicity who attend Bancroft and John Muir middle schools. There is space for 100 students and up to 200 parents. To attend, a student MUST be accompanied by at least one parent.

While the students are engaging in a bristle-bot challenge and talking to STEM professionals and college students, parents will be attending a series of workshops in English AND Spanish covering:
      • What is STEM and what career opportunities are their for my child?
      • How can I support my child's interest in STEM outside of school?
      • What financial resources are available for my child?
