Who We Are

The San Leandro Education Foundation (SLED) is a non-profit community foundation established to support the role of public education in developing our community’s young people into well-grounded future citizens. We believe that when a child succeeds, we all succeed. We believe that the vitality and future of the San Leandro community is directly linked to the quality of its public schools. Since our founding in 2008, we have been bringing the community together to accomplish these ideals.
