Jill Stowe

Jill Stowe and her husband Alan have lived in San Leandro for over 23 years. Their three children, two of whom have graduated, attended San Leandro Public Schools, their youngest, thriving at San Leandro High School. 

Jill has been an active volunteer in San Leandro throughout her children’s educations from the Broadmoor Parent Nursery Board, through Elementary and Middle School PTAs, SLHS’ United Parents, School Site Council, and School Culture and Climate Committee, as well having been a coach of baseball and basketball in the local community. Jill has also participated in SLUSD’s LPAC Parent Advisory Committee and was a member of the planning committees for Measures J1 & Measure I Parcel taxes, and the most recent Measure N Bond that is providing much needed building and maintenance upgrades to our local public schools. 

As a daughter of educators and a graduate of public schools in Oakland, CA, earning her B.A. at U.C. Davis, and working as a Financial Planner for over twenty years, Jill is a lifelong supporter of education and enrichment for our local youth.
